Freedom Village Holland Michigan is seeking a dedicated Resident Care Associate (RCA) / Caregiver to join our senior living community in Holland. This role offers full- and part-time schedules, with 1st or 2nd shifts, Mon-Fri options, and every other weekend.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, dressing, grooming, bathing, and mobility, while promoting independence and dignity. Freedom Village pays for CNA classes and state testing, with guaranteed promotion on certification.

Qualifications

• Prior geriatric care experience preferred.
• Able to understand and follow English instructions.
• Strong communication with residents and staff.
• Accurate care documentation.
• Basic arithmetic skills for tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dressing, grooming, bathing, positioning, and exercising
• Perform basic treatments, tests, and procedures as instructed
• Record observations and care provided
• Transfer, transport, and escort residents
• Answer call lights promptly
• Change linens, make beds, and maintain clean resident rooms
• Maintain safe and sanitary work areas
• Encourage independence and participation in activities
• Attend in-service training and education sessions
• Complete additional duties as assigned

Hiring: Full & Part-time

Pay: $14.50–$20.00/hr (includes shift differentials)

Sign‑On Bonus: $2,000 PT / $3,500 FT

About The Role

• Assist licensed nursing staff with activities of daily living
• Support residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, eating, and mobility
• Provide routine care to promote independence and dignity
• Serve as a stepping‑stone to becoming a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
• Freedom Village pays for CNA classes + state testing through MTEC
• Guaranteed promotion and pay increase once certified
