Freedom Village Holland is seeking a dedicated Resident Care Associate (RCA) / Caregiver to join our senior living community. We offer flexible full‑ and part‑time shifts, with options like 1st or 2nd shift and various weekend patterns, located near downtown Holland, MI.

You’ll assist residents with daily living activities, support aging adults, and pursue a CNA pathway supported by the facility. Advancement and CNA classes are provided by MTEC.

Qualifications

• Prior geriatric experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to document care accurately.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dressing, grooming, bathing, positioning, and exercising.
• Perform basic treatments, tests, and procedures as instructed.
• Record observations and care provided.
• Transfer, transport, and escort residents.
• Answer call lights promptly.
• Change linens, make beds, and maintain clean resident rooms.
• Maintain safe and sanitary work areas.
• Encourage independence and participation in activities.
• Attend in‑service training and education sessions.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Resident Care Associate (RCA) / Caregiver – Freedom Village Holland

Hiring: Full & Part-time

• Choose your shift! 1st or 2nd
• Mon-Fri only
• Weekends only
• Every other weekend
• Create the schedule that works best for you!

Pay: $14.50–$20.00/hr (includes shift differentials)

Sign‑On Bonus: $2,000 PT / $3,500 FT

About the Role

• Assist licensed nursing staff with activities of daily living
• Support residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, eating, and mobility
• Provide routine care to promote independence and dignity
• Serve as a stepping‑stone to becoming a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
• Freedom Village pays for CNA classes + state testing through MTEC
• Guaranteed promotion and pay increase once certified

Key Responsibilities
