Job summary

Kaplan Estates in Peabody, MA is seeking a compassionate Resident Care Assistant to provide daily living support, monitor residents, and assist with mobility under the direction of licensed nurses. This full-time daytime role emphasizes dignity and independence.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding while promoting dignity and independence.
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and observe changes in residents' condition to nursing staff.
• Provide basic patient care under the direction of licensed nurses, including repositioning, transferring, and assisting with mobility.
• Support residents' quality of life by fostering a positive, respectful environment and encouraging meaningful daily activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by following infection control and responding to call lights to ensure comfort and safety.

Resident Care Assistant | Kaplan Estates

$18.50 - $20.50/hour, based on experience
Full-Time | 7:00AM – 3:00PM | rotating every other weekend

Delivering Solutions that Matter:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding, while promoting dignity and independence.
• Monitor and record vital signs, intake/output, and observe and report changes in residents' physical or mental condition to the nursing staff promptly.
• Provide basic patient care under the direction of licensed nurses, including repositioning, transferring, and assisting with mobility to prevent falls and pressure injuries.
• Support residents' quality of life by fostering a positive, respectful environment and encouraging engagement in meaningful daily activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment by following infection control protocols, responding to call lights, and ensuring residents' comfort and safety throughout the shift.
