Job summary

BrioHR Pte Ltd is seeking a Resident Care Assistant for our Memory Support unit in Grand Rapids, MI. This full-time role delivers compassionate personal care, supports daily activities, and helps create a safe, home-like environment for residents.

The position offers a $500 sign-on bonus for 2nd shift, a 2pm-10:15pm schedule, and weekend premiums. Applicants should be 18+ with caregiving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous caregiver experience preferred.
• Experience with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) preferred.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 35 pounds.
• Experience with EMAR system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Assist with meals and hydration for residents.
• Support mobility and safe transfers.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
• Maintain tidy, cozy rooms and stock essentials.
• Respond to call lights quickly with kindness and compassion.
• Report changes in residents' conditions to leadership promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct.

$500 sign on bonus for 2nd shift!

Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week | 2nd shift 2pm - 10:15pm | No scheduling mandation

Shift Premiums: Weekend (Fri 11:00 pm - Sun 10:59 pm) 0.50

What You'll Do:

As a Resident Care Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents by providing compassionate personal care, supporting daily activities, and offering essential assistance in our assisted living and memory care areas. Your dedication will help create a safe, warm, and nurturing environment where residents feel valued, supported, and at home.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Hands-On Care – Assist with personal care (ADLS) like bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support Mealtime– Help residents enjoy their meals and stay hydrated for good health.
• Keep Things Moving – Support mobility, including turning, positioning, and safe transfers.
• Perform Vital Checks – Measure and record vital signs, weight, and intake/output.
• Maintain Comfort & Care – Keep rooms tidy, cozy, and well-stocked with essentials.
• Provide Responsive Support – Answer call lights quickly and respond with kindness and compassion.
• Monitor with Watchful Eyes – Report any changes in conditions to the leadership ASAP.
• Demonstrate Respect & Professionalism – Maintain confidentiality while delivering top-notch care.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Previous experience in a caregiver role, preferred.
• Experience with ADLs, preferred.
• Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 35 pounds without assistance.
• Previous working knowledge of Electronic Medication Administration Records (EMAR) system, preferred.
