Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in State College, PA is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Aide to support residents with daily living activities, safety, and dignity. You will follow all policies, communicate clearly in writing and verbally, and collaborate with the nursing team to maintain high care standards.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with ADLs, mobility, meals, and transport to activities, reporting concerns promptly, and participating in in‑service training and staff meetings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or obtained within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and mobility.
• Perform housekeeping duties and maintain clean resident areas.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergency alerts.
• Follow confidentiality policies and report status to appropriate personnel.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Communicate verbally and in writing about resident status and appointments.
• Provide support during move-in transitions and maintain professional demeanor.
• Work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
