Job summary

Harmony Senior Services seeks a Resident Assistant/PCA to provide quality daily living assistance to residents in State College, PA. You’ll support activities of daily living, help with meals and mobility, and respond promptly to calls and emergencies, while maintaining confidentiality and teamwork with nursing staff.

You will participate in activity planning, assist with move-ins, and adhere to all policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have successfully completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations as applicable.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Effective verbal and written communication required.
• Organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas as directed.
• Respond to resident calls for assistance or emergencies promptly.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Help residents with move-in transitions and provide emotional support.
