Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is hiring a Resident Assistant/PCA to provide daily living support and compassionate care for residents in Hershey, PA. You will help with activities of daily living, meals, mobility, and safety, while documenting conditions and communicating with the care team.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, completion of a state-approved PCA program, and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days. Weekend and holiday availability is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completed approved Personal Care Aide program.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Able to work with all levels of staff.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and push or carry 25 lbs.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willing to obtain within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities.
• Report incidents or care concerns to appropriate staff.
• Perform housekeeping in resident areas as directed.
• Respond promptly to resident calls or emergencies.
• Plan and conduct resident activity programs.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Assist with meals, mobility, and transfers as needed.
