Job summary

Great Lakes Management Co in Bloomington, MN is seeking a hands-on Resident Assistant to provide care and support. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, and activities, while following each resident’s service plan and communicating with families and the case manager.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living residence (Preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated by the service plan.
• Help residents reach and maintain high levels of independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the service agreement.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection.
