Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities. Responsibilities include housekeeping, responding to calls, and supporting activity programs while maintaining confidentiality and proper body mechanics.

You will work with the nursing team under supervision and may participate in move-in support and training.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping tasks in resident areas and apartments.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Support move-in processes and provide emotional support to new residents.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Report resident status and concerns to appropriate staff.
