Zusammenfassung

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents in our community. You will report incidents, assist with daily tasks, support meals and activities, ensure safety, and maintain confidentiality.

The role requires effective communication, teamwork, and a compassionate, flexible approach to scheduling.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
• Organized and able to work with all levels of personnel.
• Contribute to the nursing team and follow supervisor instructions.
• Polite, respectful, and caring toward residents, visitors, and coworkers.
• Ability to walk, stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and assist transfers.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or within 60 days of hire.

Aufgaben

• Reports incidents and care concerns to appropriate individuals.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living.
• Performs housekeeping and dining area duties as directed.
• Responds promptly to resident calls and emergencies.
• Plans and conducts activity programs for residents.
