Harmony Senior Services in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Resident Assistant/PCA to provide quality care and assist residents with daily living activities, including mobility, meals, and personal care. The role requires teamwork, reliable communication, and compassion; you will assist with move-ins, support activity programs, and report status while adhering to policies.

A high school diploma or GED and approved PCA training are required; CPR/First Aid certification or willingness within 60 days

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.
• Must be organized and able to work with all levels of personnel.
• Must be a contributing member of nursing team and follow instruction of supervisor.
• Must be polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.
• Must represent the community in a positive and professional manner.
• Must attend and complete all required in-services and staff meetings.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping and maintain resident apartments and common areas.
• Respond promptly to calls or emergencies.
• Assist residents to dining room and to activities.
• Plan and conduct activity programs for residents.
• Report resident status and any concerns to appropriate staff.
• Assist new residents with move-in transition and provide emotional support.
