Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed approved personal care aide program per state regulations.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and assist residents safely.
• CPR/First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Confidentiality policies must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas and common spaces.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Respond promptly to all resident calls for assistance or emergencies.
• Assist residents with move-in transitions and provide emotional support.
• Communicate resident status, appointments, admissions, and transfers to appropriate staff.
