Job summary

Harmony Senior Services seeks a Resident Assistant/PCA to support residents with daily living activities, respond to emergencies, and maintain a clean living environment. You will work closely with the nursing team to ensure compassionate care and safety in a community setting.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and completion of an approved PCA program. CPR/First Aid certification is required or attainable within 60 days of hire. Flexible weekends and holidays may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in-writing.
• Must be organized and able to work well with all levels of personnel.
• Must be a contributing member of nursing team and follow instruction of supervisor.
• Must be polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers.
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, and push or carry 25 lbs.
• Must be able to safely lift and transfer residents while maintaining proper body mechanics.
• Must be CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to become certified within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and concerns to appropriate staff.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas as directed by supervisor.
• Respond promptly to resident calls and emergency alerts.
• Assist in planning and conducting activity programs for residents.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
