Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide quality daily living assistance to residents. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and completion of an approved PCA program, with strong communication and teamwork skills.

You will assist residents with daily activities, perform light housekeeping, respond to calls, and support activity programs. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and handle emergencies

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of an approved Personal Care Aide program per state regulations.
• Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Organized and able to work well with all levels of staff.
• Team player and able to follow supervisor instructions.
• Polite and considerate of residents, visitors, and co-workers.
• Able to walk/stand for extended periods and lift 50 lbs, push 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and care concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Perform housekeeping duties in resident areas.
• Respond to resident calls and emergencies promptly.
• Assist in planning and conducting activities for residents.
• Support move-in transitions and provide emotional support to new residents.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Other duties as assigned.
