Job summary

SARASOTA in Sarasota, FL seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver routine daily nursing care according to each resident's assessment and care plan. You will assist with meals, hygiene, mobility, and transfers, while documenting observations and reporting changes to the nursing team.

Responsibilities include ensuring room readiness, maintaining resident comfort, and safeguarding resident information. CPR is preferred;licensure must comply with state laws.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state. CPR Preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.
• Mathematical skills to apply fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services per resident care plan.
• Identify residents before treatments and meals using wristband/photo card.
• Record entries accurately on flow sheets, notes, and charts.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain resident room readiness and assist with transfers and daily activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report incidents.
