Job summary

PACS in Florida seeks a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care per resident care plans. You will identify residents, assist with daily functions, and support the nursing team with required duties while maintaining confidentiality.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, timely reporting of changes, and a caring approach to resident comfort and safety. CPR is preferred; a 10th grade education is required.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, an 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state.
• CPR Preferred

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments or meals.
• Record entries on flow sheets and charts accurately.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident health information and report disclosures.
• Assist residents with daily functions and mobility as trained.
• Ensure rooms are ready for new residents and greet them upon arrival.
• Support rest of nursing staff by performing assigned routine tasks.
