Job summary

Sarasota Health And Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine nursing care for residents in accordance with care plans and physician orders.

Responsibilities include identifying residents, recording accurate information, and reporting changes to nursing staff. CPR certification is preferred and every effort will be made to maintain a supportive, safe environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed CNA in accordance with state laws.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret basic instructions.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before routine tasks using wristband or photo card as necessary.
• Provide routine daily nursing care according to care plans.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain records with clear, descriptive entries.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident information and report privacy concerns.
