Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Resident Assistant/Personal Care Aide to provide quality care for residents in our Hockessin community. You will assist with daily living activities, respond to calls, and help with social and activity programs.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and completion of an approved Personal Care Aide program; CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have completed an approved Personal Care Aide program per state regulations.
• Effective verbal and written communication is required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work with all levels of personnel.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living.
• Report incidents and care concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Perform housekeeping tasks and keep resident areas clean.
• Respond promptly to resident calls for assistance and emergencies.
• Assist with activity programs and social engagement.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
