Job summary

PACS Group seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant in Texas to deliver routine daily nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and supervision.

You will identify residents, document care accurately, report changes to the Nurse Supervisor, and maintain confidentiality while assisting with daily activities and mobility as needed. PACS Group values safety and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, an 10th grade education.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents before administering treatments and assisting with daily activities.
• Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, etc., in an informative, descriptive manner.
• Report all changes in the resident’s condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse as soon as practical.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident health information and report unauthorized disclosures.
• Follow established policies concerning exposure to blood/body fluids.
• Assist residents with daily functions (dental care, bathing, dressing, etc.) and prepare residents for medical tests.
