Job description

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Resident Care Aid to work in a correctional facility located in Ypsilanti, MI. The Resident Care Aide (RCA) provides basic patient care and support services to incarcerated individuals within a correctional healthcare environment. Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, the RCA assists with activities of daily living, monitors patient well-being, maintains a safe and secure environment, and supports healthcare operations while adhering to facility security procedures and regulations.

Pay Rate: $16.25/hr

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Previous experience in healthcare, long-term care, behavioral health, residential care, or correctional healthcare preferred.
• Ability to pass a background check, security clearance, and any facility-specific requirements.
• Basic Life: $25,000 (100% employer paid)
• Basic Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) : $25,000 (100% employer paid)
