Job summary

City of New York seeks an Assistant Resident Building SU to oversee daily maintenance operations at development and supervise the repair of structures and equipment, including roof tanks, standpipe and sprinkler systems. You will manage labor and material resources and ensure timely PHAS readiness.

The role involves monitoring inventory, coordinating repairs via Maximo, and supervising maintenance staff working in residents' apartments and common areas.

Qualifications

• One year of permanent service in similar supervisory titles or
• A four year high school diploma or equivalent plus four years of experience in operation, repair and maintenance of large tenanted buildings, two years in a supervisory role over at least two employees.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance operations at development.
• Supervise repair of structures and equipment, maintenance of roof tanks, standpipe, sprinkler systems and related equipment.
• Monitor inventory supply and arrange replenishment as needed.
• Conduct building inspections and follow-up on repairs for PHAS preparations.
• Monitor work orders in Maximo and deployment of staff to address repairs.
• Oversee repair work by Maintenance Workers in residents' apartments and public spaces.
• Supervise the preparation of move-outs.
