Job summary

Great Lakes Management in St. Anthony, MN seeks compassionate Resident Assistants to support residents with daily living, companionship, and personal care in a warm, welcoming community.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long term care or assisted living (Preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and decisions and act in the resident's best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated by the service plan.
• Help residents reach and maintain independence and well-being.
• Provide physical and emotional support to residents.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the service plan.
• Observe residents and report changes to the case manager.
• Engage residents to provide reassurance and appropriate redirection.
• Complete required documentation daily.

As a Resident Assistant, you will provide personal care, companionship, and assistance with daily living while helping our residents maintain dignity and independence in both an assisted living and memory care setting. • PT 0.2 6am-2pm (every other weekend)

Resident Assistant Job Objective(s):

The Resident Assistant is responsible for providing hands-on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident's service agreement. Responsible for effectively communicating with residents, families, and notifying the case manager of any changes in condition or concerns. The Resident Assistant assists in the dining room and participating in activities

Resident Assistant Job Responsibilitie s:

• Assist residents with ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) as indicated on the individualized service agreement
• Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence.
• Provide residents with both physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the resident service agreement
• The Resident Assistant observes clients and reports changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, loss of appetite, weight, etc. to the case manager.
• Interactwith residents to provide reassurance, engagement, and redirection as appropriate.
• Complete all required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, communication book, etc.

Qualifications:
