Job summary

Western Home Communities seeks a compassionate Resident Assistant/ Medication Manager to join our award-winning team in a family-like Assisted Living setting. You will work with energetic staff to provide daily living support, personal care, and medication administration under nursing supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ to obtain Medication Manager.
• Current active license to practice as a CNA in Iowa.
• Willing to obtain Medication Manager certification (training provided).
• Prior direct care experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to residents under the supervision of the nurse and the support of your team.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility).
• Respond promptly to residents’ calls and document interactions.
• Medication duties include administration under supervision after certification; ensure residents’ rights are upheld.
