Most importantly, at The Village of Ackley, your voice will always be heard!What We Offer:Attendance BonusShift DifferentialHealth Benefits (Full-time) - including Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceFlexible PTO to support your work-life balance401kAnd much more!What you'll do as a Resident Assistant/ Medication Manager:Provide care to residents under the supervision of the nurse and the support of your teamProvide physical support for residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, - using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising.Assists with organizing, cleaning, laundry, meals, and other assigned tasksPromptly answer residents' calls for assistance and provide compassionate care that is in alignment with their specific care planChart resident interactions throughout the shift and communicate efficiently with the members of your team(Upon receiving your Medication Manager certificate) Medication Duties include, but are not limited to, the preparation and administration of medications, tests, and medical treatmentsEnsures that resident’s rights are adhered toWhat you'll need as a Resident Assistant/ Medication Manager):Must be 18 years of age to obtain a Medication ManagerMust be willing to obtain Medication Manager (We will enroll you upon hire if you haven't already taken the course)(Not required) Current active license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Iowa.Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the public.Strong commitment to serving othersPrior direct care experience is preferred, but not required.Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as requiredThe Village of Ackley currently provides a full range of services to older adults in Ackley and surrounding communities.
