Job summary

Carefree Living in Silver Bay, Minnesota, is seeking Resident Assistants to join our assisted living community. This part-time AM shift position offers an extra $1.50 per hour for 6pm–6am shifts and an additional $1.00 for weekend hours.

Responsibilities include building relationships, assisting residents with daily living activities, and maintaining a safe, respectful environment. Prior caregiving is preferred, CNA is not required, and we provide paid training and opportunities for professional

Qualifications

• caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• CNA certification is not required.
• Pass basic written competency and skills test.
• Must meet physical requirements and pass background check.
• Basic computer use and MS Office skills required.

Schedule: Part-time AM Shift

Extra $1.50 shift differential for 6pm–6am shifts plus an extra $1.00 on the weekends

• Relationship building and ensuring the ultimate level of care and customer service is provided
• Assist adults with activities of daily living
• Provide a safe, healthy and productive daily living environment
• Increase quality of life by being respectful, professional, and understanding of the client's needs
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required
• CNA Certification Is NOT REQUIRED
• Must have a passion for providing excellent care and customer service
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving skills
• Pass basic written competency and skills test
• Position requires computer use; knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office is required
• Selected candidate must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position and will be subject to a DHS and criminal background study
