Job summary

Carefree Living in Minnesota is seeking part-time Resident Assistants to join our Assisted Living community. The role emphasizes resident-centered care, teamwork, and professional development in a supportive health care company.

The position offers flexible, set block PM shifts with a $1.00 shift differential. Candidates should be prepared to meet physical requirements and complete background checks as required by DHS.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred, but not required.
• CNA certification is NOT REQUIRED.
• Must have passion for providing excellent care and customer service.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
• Pass basic written competency and skills test.
• Position requires computer use; knowledge of Internet and Microsoft Office is required.
• Selected candidate must meet physical requirements and will be subject to DHS and criminal background study.

Responsibilities

• Relationship building and ensuring high level of care and customer service.
• Assist adults with activities of daily living; pass medications (training provided by RN).
• Provide a safe, healthy and productive daily living environment.
• Increase quality of life by being respectful, professional, and understanding of residents' needs.

Schedule:

Part time PM shifts available - set block schedules

Additional shift differential of $1.00 for PM shifts
