Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a Resident Assistant/CNA for Memory Care in Kentucky. The role supports daily living activities and ensures safety, dignity and comfort for residents, with a 2nd or 3rd shift schedule.

You will assist with bathing, grooming, meals and mobility, while maintaining compassionate communication and high standards of care in a secure, loving environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to read and write.
• Reading, writing and basic math and verbal communication skills are required.
• A caring, patient attitude and dependable transportation are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to meet physical, emotional and social needs with respect and dignity.
• Provide bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and related care as needed.
• Assist with meals and snacks, setup and feeding when necessary, and light housekeeping.

Resident Assistants/CNAs Are Expected To Accomplish Tasks Outside Of Their Normal Assignments Whenever Necessary To Maintain a Quality Care Environment For Our Residents. As Part Of a Team-oriented Workplace, Resident Assistants Participate In Training Opportunities And Offer Help To Other Areas And Staff In Need. The Typical Work Of a Resident Assistant Can Include

• Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
• This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
• Assist residents with meals and snacks
• Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
• Housekeeping duties as necessary
