Job summary

Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a RESIDENT ASSISTANT/CNA for 2nd or 3rd shift in our assisted living communities. You will assist residents with daily living activities, meals, personal care, and mobility, within a compassionate, secure environment that values hospitality and dignity.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a can-do attitude, with benefits and opportunities for growth in a resident-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Read, write, and basic math and verbal communication skills required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• 18 years of age or older and able to read and write.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living assistance to residents with dignity and respect.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal support.
• Assist with meals, setup, service and feeding as needed; perform light housekeeping duties.

Resident Assistants/CNAs Are Expected To Accomplish Tasks Outside Of Their Normal Assignments Whenever Necessary To Maintain a Quality Care Environment For Our Residents. As Part Of a Team-oriented Workplace, Resident Assistants Participate In Training Opportunities And Offer Help To Other Areas And Staff In Need. The Typical Work Of a Resident Assistant Can Include

• Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
• This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
• Assist residents with meals and snacks
• Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
• Housekeeping duties as necessary
