Morning Pointe Senior Living is seeking a Resident Assistant/CNA for the evening shift in their assisted living communities. The role focuses on helping residents with daily living activities, meals, and hygiene, while promoting dignity and independence.

The successful candidate will exemplify a caring, patient attitude, with reliable transportation and the ability to stand for extended periods. Minimum age is 18, with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Can-do attitude and caring for others are essential.
• Reliable transportation and dependable work ethic required.
• Basic reading, writing, math and verbal communication skills needed.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Minimum age 18 years and ability to read/write.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities to support physical, emotional, social and spiritual well‑being.
• Aid with bathing, dressing, grooming and grooming tasks as needed.
• Support residents with meals, snacks and feeding assistance as required.
• Perform housekeeping duties and maintain a clean living environment.
• Provide compassionate care with respect and dignity.

The Typical Work Of a Resident Assistant Can Include

• Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
• This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
• Assist residents with meals and snacks
• Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
• Housekeeping duties as necessary
