Job summary

Morning Pointe Assisted Living is seeking a Resident Assistant/CNA for 2nd or 3rd shift to support daily living activities for residents. You will provide compassionate care, assist with bathing, grooming, meals, and daily routines in a friendly team setting.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living to meet residents' physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry and other care duties.
• Assist residents with meals and snacks and with setup and feeding as necessary.
• Perform housekeeping tasks in resident rooms and common areas as needed.

Resident Assistants/CNAs are expected to accomplish tasks outside of their normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for our residents. As part of a team-oriented workplace, Resident Assistants participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need. The typical work of a Resident Assistant can include:

1. Providing assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
2. This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
3. Assist residents with meals and snacks
4. Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
5. Housekeeping duties as necessary
