Job summary

Spring Arbor of Greensboro is seeking a compassionate Resident Assistant for the overnight shift (11PM–7AM) to support our Assisted Living residents. You will provide hands-on care, assist with daily living activities, and maintain accurate records under the supervision of the Resident Services Director.

This role fosters a warm, safe environment where dignity and independence are encouraged. You will follow individualized care plans, communicate with the team, and help implement daily

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year related health care experience.
• Dementia training (required for communities with an Ensemble Program).
• Ability to pass a criminal background screening.
• Willingness to comply with the drug-free workplace policy.

Responsibilities

• Approach every interaction with residents and fellow associates in a friendly, service-oriented way.
• Assist residents with daily living activities — bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, bed linens, positioning, transfers, mobility, medication reminders, and incontinence care.
• Maintain accurate records, including resident service plans and documentation of care provided.
• Stay familiar with each resident's service plan to ensure personalized, consistent care.
• Communicate closely with the Resident Services team for seamless continuity of care.
• Help promote a safe environment for residents, associates, and visitors.
• Support the day-to-day programming and operations of the neighborhood.

Resident Assistant Needed at Spring Arbor of Greensboro

Part-Time | 11PM–7AM

Are you a compassionate, caring person who loves making a difference in someone's day? Spring Arbor of Greensboro is looking for a dedicated Resident Assistant to provide hands-on care and support to our Assisted Living residents. Under the guidance of our Resident Services Director, you'll help create a warm, safe, and positive environment for the people who call our community home.

The primary responsibility of the Resident Assistant is to provide resident care services, as scheduled, under the supervision of the Resident Services Director (RSD) in Assisted Living areas, maintaining a positive physical and social environment.

What You'll Do

• Approach every interaction with residents and fellow associates in a friendly, service-oriented way

What You Bring

• At least 18 years of age

• Ability to pass a criminal background screening
• Willingness to comply with our drug-free workplace policy

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in CPR and first aid preferred or as required by the state.
• May be a Licensed or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Nursing Assistant (NA) depending on the state requirements, if licensed or certified must be in good standing with the state licensing or certifying agency.
• Previous experience with computerized resident documentation systems a plus.
