• Provide supervision and non-weight-bearing assistance as needed.
• Communicate and coordinate with resident needs and team.

Job description

We’re looking for compassionate individuals to join our team of Resident Assistants to assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Provide high-quality service in a cheerful, timely manner by communicating, coordinating, and cooperating with others to attain goals.

Pay: Starting from $15.00, increases with experience

Shifts Available: PRN, Part-time 7a-3p, 3p-11p

Responsibilities

• Provide encouragement and high-quality care in a cheerful, timely manner
• Assist residents with ADLs, including teeth care, toileting, bathing, incontinence, and dressing in a caring and supportive manner as needed per resident
• Provide supervision, cueing, or other non-weight-bearing assistance related to transfer ambulation as needed per resident
• Safely roll carts, laundry hampers, and other equipment through work and resident areas
• Communicate, coordinate, and cooperate with resident needs and team structure
• Work as a team under the supervision and direction of the nurse in charge
• Respond quickly to emergency calls from Independent Living residents as directed by the nurse in charge

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma/GED
• Certification: First Aid Course
