Job description

Full-time Night Shift Resident Assistant - 8 Hour Shifts from 10pm to 6am

Minimum Qualifications

Duties include:

1. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
2. Encourage socialization among residents.
3. Assist with the activity program; conduct activities as directed by the Activity Director or assigned by supervisor.
4. Monitor health, safety, and well-being of the residents.
5. Document information pertaining to residents' functional status or condition in the appropriate flow sheet binder.
6. Provide hands-on support and visual oversight to residents.
7. Assist in maintaining a safe environment for residents.
8. Report any changes or concerns regarding residents' condition to the Director of Nursing (D.O.N.) and/or nurse on staff.
9. Maintain accurate records of resident meals, intake, output, and bathing.
10. Perform personal laundry for residents.
11. Carry out other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
12. Attend and participate in monthly meetings; review all pertinent resident information in staff communication logs, daily progress notes, and flow sheets.
13. Background check and drug test are required.
