Job Description: Resident Assistant/Caregivers

Our Resident Assistant/Caregivers assist in the personal care and protection of residents in an assisted living environment. You will incorporate CARF/CCAC standards into daily routines, develop awareness of residents' interests and needs, and help residents maximize their independence and participation. The role involves working one-on-one with residents, providing direct care, and assisting with activities of daily living and scheduled programs.

Pay Range

$19.50 - $22.70/hour, depending on experience.

Position Classification

FLSA Classification – Non-Exempt

Minimum Requirements

Education

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent knowledge or experience preferred.

Experience/Training

• Previous caregiving experience.
• One year of experience in recreational activities preferred. Vocational/technical training related to elderly care, including dementia care, is desired. An equivalent combination of education and experience providing the required skills is acceptable.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

• CPR certification required.
