Job summary

Stonebridge Effingham is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant to provide compassionate daily nursing care to assigned residents in accordance with care plans and facility policies in Effingham, IL.

You will participate in training to obtain CNA certification, assist with meals and daily activities, and support residents through caring, respectful service. Join our family-focused team providing Rehabilitation and Memory Care across our communities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10th grade education; HS Diploma / GED preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with shared decision-making processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily nursing care to assigned residents.
• Attend trainings to obtain certification as a Nursing Assistant.
• Assist residents with daily dental, mouth, bath and other care tasks.
• Prepare residents for meals, serve food, and record intake.
• All other duties as assigned.

The Resident Assistant provides services to assigned residents in accordance with care plans, facility policies and procedures and at the direction of supervisor(s).

• Attend and participate in scheduled training and educational classes to obtain certification as a Nursing Assistant
• Assist residents with daily dental, mouth, bath and other care functions as necessary.
• Prepare residents for meals and serve food, record intake of food and fluids.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education - HS Diploma / GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Demonstrated competencies as a written and verbal communicator
• Background and experience in shared decision-making processes
