Job summary

Villa West Branch is seeking a Recreation Services Aide to join our team. Under the supervision of the Recreational Services Director, you will assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating activities that support residents’ physical, emotional, and psychosocial well-being in accordance with care plans.

Responsibilities include leading groups, helping residents attend programs, and communicating with families and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience in a relevant role.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements planned activity programming to meet each resident's needs.
• Assists residents to and from activities and outings.
• Maintains rapport with families and encourages participation.
• Provides input to assessment of resident participation.
• Communicates resident concerns to supervisor.
• Supports resident preferences and routines.
• All other duties as assigned.
