Job summary

Main Street Terrace Care Center is seeking an enthusiastic Activity Assistant to create a vibrant, joyful environment for residents. You will plan and facilitate daily activities, assist with documentation, and collaborate with the Activity Director to develop new and exciting programs.

Schedule includes Wednesday and Thursday evenings, Saturday and Sunday day shifts, with fill-ins as needed. A caring, organized, and proactive personality will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• A passion for working with people and enhancing their quality of life.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• A caring and compassionate personality.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
• STNA License preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate daily activities for residents.
• Assist in documenting activities and resident participation.
• Maintain a neat activity area to welcome residents.
• Collaborate with the Activity Director to develop new programs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all residents.
