Main Street Terrace Care Center is seeking an enthusiastic Activity Assistant to create a vibrant, joyful environment for residents. You will plan and facilitate daily activities, assist with documentation, and collaborate with the Activity Director to develop new and exciting programs.

Schedule includes Wednesday and Thursday evenings, Saturday and Sunday day shifts, with fill-ins as needed. A caring, organized, and proactive personality will thrive in this role.

Formación

• A passion for working with people and enhancing their quality of life.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• A caring and compassionate personality.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
• STNA License preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

Job Description:Are you someone who enjoys working with people and making a positive impact on their lives? We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter who can work independently under the direction of our Activity Director. As an Activity Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a vibrant and joyful environment for our residents.Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday evening shift, Saturday and Sunday day shift and fill ins as needed.Responsibilities:

• Plan and facilitate daily activities that engage and entertain residents.
• Assist in basic documentation of activities and resident participation.
• Maintain a neat and tidy activity area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
• Collaborate with the Activity Director to develop new and exciting programs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all residents.

Qualifications:

• A passion for working with people and enhancing their quality of life.
• STNA Licnese prefferred but not required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
• A caring and compassionate personality.
