Job summary

Extended Care LLC seeks an energetic Activity Aide to enhance residents' daily living through engaging activities. You will help create meaningful social interactions and support a vibrant community in our facility.

Responsibilities include leading group and one-on-one activities, maintaining records, coordinating calendars, and encouraging Resident Council participation. This is a full-time, on-site role with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ongoing group and individual activity programs based on residents’ needs, interests, and abilities, as identified in assessments and care plans.
• Complete required record-keeping upon resident admission, discharge, and transfer; chart and document per facility policy.
• Assist in creating the activity calendar and coordinating events.
• Follow and maintain established policies and procedures.
• Encourage resident participation in Resident Council and schedule monthly meetings.
