Job summary

Main Street Terrace Care Center in Lancaster, OH is seeking an enthusiastic Activities Assistant to create a vibrant, engaging environment for residents. You will work under the Activity Director, planning activities, assisting with documentation, and helping run new programs to enhance residents' quality of life.

The role requires a caring, self-motivated individual with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with people and enhancing quality of life.
• STNA license preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
• A caring and compassionate personality.

Job Description:

Are you someone who enjoys working with people and making a positive impact on their lives? We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter who can work independently under the direction of our Activity Director. As an Activity Assistant, you will play a key role in creating a vibrant and joyful environment for our residents.

Schedule:

Wednesday, Thursday evening shift, Saturday and Sunday day shift and fill ins as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and facilitate daily activities that engage and entertain residents.
• Assist in basic documentation of activities and resident participation.
• Maintain a neat and tidy activity area to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
