Job summary

Alden Village in Bloomingdale is seeking an Activities/Resident Engagement role to manage daily activity calendars and lead a person-centered activity program for residents. This position supports the Activity Director and ensures adherence to regulations while delivering compassionate care.

The role requires at least 1 year in healthcare or related experience, strong English skills, and a valid Illinois driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare or with disabled population.
• Reading and writing English proficiency.
• Valid IL driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily activity calendar requirements as set by the Activity Director.
• Lead a therapeutic, person-centered activity program to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Follow Activity Policies, Procedures and Federal/State regulations.
• Document assessments and daily participation records.
• Coordinate resident outings and community involvement.
• Update activity boards and maintain monthly themes.
