Job summary

Sunridge Assisted Living of Roy is seeking an Activity Coordinator to lead engaging programs for residents. You will collaborate with volunteers and CNAs to create inclusive events, maintain supplies, and manage the activity calendar.

You will also capture photos and videos for sharing, conduct 1:1 resident visits when needed, and uphold a positive, professional presence while fostering relationships with residents, families, staff, and the community.

Qualifications

• Must be 25 years or older.
• Must provide TB test within two weeks of date of hire.
• Must have current Food Handlers Permit.
• Must be in good health and properly immunized against infectious diseases.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Encourage residents to participate in activities and recreational programs.
• Work with volunteers and CNAs to assist with group activities.
• Maintain and have needed supplies for activities and equipment.
• Maintain the monthly activity calendar and follow scheduled days.
• Capture photographs and video of residents during activities and post on social media.
• Support 1:1 visits with residents not attending group activities.
• Keep the activity room clean and orderly at shift end.
• Foster good relationships with residents, families, staff, and vendors.
