Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY, seeks a Manager Residency Training Programs to oversee Dentistry residency administrative functions. You will liaise with the house staff office and manage the Orthodontics residency program and onboarding requirements.

The role requires leadership experience at a team level, strong communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with ACGME accreditation standards to ensure high-quality resident education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years' experience leading a team, mentoring and coaching subordinates.
• 1-3 years' experience working with Google & Microsoft applications.
• 1-3 years' experience in an academic medical center setting preferred.
• Experience with program development, growth, implementation and project management preferred.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, IRIS, New Innovations, ERAS, NRMP preferred.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as department liaison to the institution's house staff office and represent the Department at meetings regarding residents.
• Coordinate Orthodontics residency program and support the Program Director, match, onboarding and annual requirements.
• Supervise program coordinators and back-up during vacancies, leaves and PTO.
• Establish and implement best practices to enhance the resident academic experience.
• Demonstrate knowledge of ACGME accreditation for institutions and programs.
• Communicate complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Maintain excellent writing, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills.
• Lead multiple activities and meet deadlines.
