Job summary

Mount Sinai in New York seeks a Residency Program Coordinator to oversee day-to-day operations of the residency and fellowship programs for residents, fellows, and attending physicians. Under the guidance of the Residency Program Director, ensures timely submission of completed House staff appointment applications and maintains rotation schedules and grand rounds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all aspects of the resident/fellow interview process including scheduling interview dates and credentials.
• Coordinates with ERAS, House Staff Affairs and HR to ensure submission of documents and licensing requirements for house staff appointments.
• Implements all modules of the New Innovations residency management software, including data reporting and user training.
• Coordinates Orientation Day for new house staff and maintains residency manuals, clearance and membership forms.
• Manages schedules for residents/fellows, didactic lectures, grand rounds, and calendar of events.
• Maintains records for residency and fellowship programs, including verification requests and calendar of applicant appointments.
• Ensures compliance with AMA, ACGME and board requirements and handles moonlighting and professional activity documentation.
• Prepares for internal reviews and supports rotation schedules, evaluations, and program communications.
