Universal Health Services in McAllen, TX seeks a Medical Education Specialist to oversee the residency program's operations under the GME Director and Program Director, with a strong understanding of ACGME accreditation.

Responsibilities include long-range planning, recruiting trainees, developing projects, analyzing workflows, maintaining databases, and communicating with faculty and residents, while supervising staff and safeguarding confidential information.

Competenze

3-5 years of previous supervisory experience required.
Experience with graduate medical education web-based software (New Innovations) or other web-based GME program management software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, detail oriented, able to organize information, handle sensitive information with confidentiality, make decisions independently and escalate issues as needed.
Supervisory responsibility: provides administrative supervision and guidance to residents and possibly coordinators or administrative assistants.
