Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's Mercy Gilbert Medical Center in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Residency Program Coordinator to support the Sports Medicine Fellowship. You will handle onboarding, contracts, compliance with ACGME, and coordination across services to enhance the resident experience.

Collaborate with the program director, manage the budget, maintain policies, track logs, and coordinate meetings and evaluations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum five years of relevant residency program coordination experience.
Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with program director and faculty to develop curriculum and integrate core competencies.
Liaise with residents, assess morale, and connect with GME resources.
Serve as main liaison for internal and external stakeholders.
Attend residency committees, draft agendas, record minutes, and implement decisions.
Oversee budget and finalize annual program evaluation submissions to the GME office.
Review and update program policies and maintain program files.
Compile data and prepare reports for the program director, GME office, accrediting bodies.
Manage the training year life cycle from recruitment to graduation.
Assist with modifications to training schedules as needed.
Track resident logs, conference attendance, and scholarly activity.
