Job summary

Shirley Ryan AbilityLab seeks a Residency & Medical Education Coordinator to provide comprehensive administrative, operational, and educational support for Residency and Fellowship Programs. You will serve as a central liaison among residents, students, faculty, offices, and training sites, ensuring accreditation standards are met and educational initiatives are supported.

You will coordinate recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and scheduling, manage course materials, and assist with budgets

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of college or post-high school training.
• 3–5 years of general office experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); basic PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as administrative representative for Residency & Fellowship Programs.
• Manage day-to-day program operations per policies and accreditation standards (ACGME, ABPMR).
• Coordinate events, conferences, and workshops, including scheduling and AV support.
• Prepare and distribute correspondence, reports, agendas, and schedules.
