Shirley Ryan AbilityLab seeks a System Director of Nursing and Clinical Education to lead education strategy across the health system. You will shape clinical competency, faculty development, and workforce readiness while aligning with regulatory standards and organizational goals.
You will drive program evaluation, professional development, and interprofessional education, overseeing onboarding, residency, and leadership pathways across multiple sites.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field required; Doctoral degree preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
- Current RN license and progressive nursing leadership experience.
Responsabilités
- Develop, implement, and evaluate a system-wide nursing and clinical education strategy aligned with priorities.
- Lead enterprise initiatives related to clinical competency, workforce development, and leadership development.
- Serve as strategic advisor to nursing and operational leadership on education and professional development needs.
- Support achievement of strategic nursing goals, quality outcomes, and workforce engagement.
- Oversee orientation, onboarding, residency, fellowship, and transition-to-practice programs.
- Standardize nursing education across inpatient, outpatient, and Alliance Partner settings.
