Job summary

United Health Services (UHS) in the Southern Tier of New York seeks a Medical Education Program Coordinator to oversee accredited and non-accredited residency, fellowship, and student education programs. You will ensure compliance with GME requirements and hospital policies, collaborating with program leadership to run efficient, compliant training experiences.

The role focuses on day-to-day operations, data integrity for accreditation, and support across residency and fellowship activities,

Qualifications

Minimum Required: Associates Degree in a related field.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree and 5 years relevant experience

Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day operations of residency, fellowship, and student education programs.
Ensure program compliance with accreditation standards and annual reviews.
Monitor resident and fellow duty hours and manage educational goals.
Track completion of all program requirements for residents and fellows.
Manage rotation scheduling and paid time off within Workday.
Update program data for accreditation agencies and external bodies.
Coordinate VSAS and clerkship applications for medical and podiatric students.
Organize program meetings and prepare documentation and PAFs.
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and graduation activities.
Collaborate with faculty and leadership to support program success.
