Job summary

Air Products Inc. is seeking a Construction Technician to join our Customer Engineering team. This residence-based role requires extensive travel (75%) across the southern United States and preference for bases in North Carolina or northern South Carolina.

You will install cryogenic storage, processing, and delivery equipment at customer sites and ensure top safety and quality during startup and operation. The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude, the ability to read drawings, and

Qualifications

• Experience reading technical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and climb stairs/ladders.
• Proficient with hand tools and basic electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Install product storage, processing, and delivery equipment at customer sites.
• Operate and troubleshoot cryogenic piping and tanks.
• Coordinate crane lifts and supervise contractors.
• Ensure safety compliance and document activities.
• Read engineering drawings and provide startup support.
• Provide customer training and relate to project scope.
